- Vipul Kocher , Co President , PureTesting wins the "Logica CMG Award" for innovation at Eurostar 2005
Dec 2 , 2005 , Copenhagen - Vipul Kocher won the "Logica CMG Award" for innovation at EUROSTAR 2005 in Copenhagen ,Denmark. The award was presented to Vipul for his much acclaimed work on Q- Patterns, a light-weight mechanism for sharing and documenting testing experience and test cases.
Vipul was selected for the award based on the results of an audience poll. Accepting the award on behalf of the entire fraternity at PureTesting , Vipul said "This is a recognition to all the test professionals who believe in innovation and think "The more original a discovery, the more obvious it seems afterwards. I humbly accept this on behalf of my colleagues at PureTesting who have constantly tried to challenge frontiers and believed in redefining the norms".

Vipul Kocher , Co President PureTesting was invited to deliver a talk on "Emerging Trends in Testing Technologies". Software Testing, like friction, has come to be recognized as a "necessary evil." Over a period of time people's notion about software testing and software testers has changed. New paradigms of software testing are visible on the horizon. They are there but still "not there." This talk addressed the past, present, and possible future of software testing. It also addressed the changes that are challenging the traditional wisdom, the mindset change of the development community, the role of QA community and how it impacts the "tester community."

Jayapradeep J from PureTesting and Radhakrishnan BG from Kanbay jointly presented a tutorial on "Improving the Testing Cycle: Process Models at Play" at QAI International Software Testing Conference 2006 on 21 March 2006 at Hotel Crowne Plaza Surya, New Delhi. This tutorial focused on the innovative concept of a Test Process improvement model called TVM (Test View Model). This model comprehensively covers the tasks involved in improving the testing process and in defining Critical Process Areas (with the focus on checklists and metrics to assess current maturity levels, methodologies, and strategies to be adopted to move towards higher testing maturity levels).
